IDEA is a consortium of renowned public universities from across the United States, offering online, flexible, and affordable degree and certificate programs across a range of subjects in human services and agriculture. Their mission is to serve learners by offering online, flexible, affordable instruction for a virtual community of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Previously Great Plains IDEA, IDEA provides educational freedom, creating rewarding pathways for lifelong learning, career advancement, and community growth in an ever-changing society.
CUSTOM WEB DEVELOPMENT
After decades in operation, the Great Plains IDEA (Innovative Digital Education Alliance) embarked on a full rebrand initiative to modernize its identity for the digital age. This comprehensive effort included updating their logo, color scheme, marketing collateral, website, and a series of videos to create a cohesive and contemporary brand presence.
The redesigned IDEA.edu website exemplified a user-centric digital platform that reflected the organization’s commitment to accessible, flexible online education. With a clean, structured layout and intuitive navigation, users could easily explore information about degree programs, research initiatives, and continuing education opportunities. The responsive design ensured seamless performance across all devices, while human-centered design principles enhanced overall usability. This thoughtful alignment between the site’s functionality and IDEA’s educational emphasis on UX/UI reinforced their brand identity and dedication to digital excellence.

As part of the re-brand project, we updated several pieces of collateral. These pieces are mostly used at educational conferences and campus recruiting events. JNT focused on incorporating the new design, and simplifying the copy to make these pieces more engaging.
